St Mary’s Community Service Building, Naas General Hospital, Naas, Co. Kildare
MFM (Joinery) Ltd. were appointed by the HSE to renovate and upgrade 22no existing sash windows to St. Mary’s Community Services Building located on the grounds of Naas General Hospital.
The contract involved the upgrading of the existing sashes from single glazing to double glazing plus the installation of a draft seal system. All existing ironmongery was renewed.
Both the existing sashes and frames where stripped completly of all paint and repainted. Any repairs deemed necessary where carried out using “Accoya” timber. The window frames where repaired and repainted on site while the sashes where removed form site to be stripped and repainted in MFM’s workshop in Cavan.
All work was supervised by both the HSE and Keith Megan of A & D Wejchert & Partners Architects.
The contract was carried in 3 phases and completed at the end of Oct 2012.
